Mid way through spring and what better way to enjoy the sunshine than with delightful sounds of Gypsy Swing.  String quartet Continental Drift bring together the sounds of Europe in a enjoyable musical odyssey that shifts seamlessly from Russian to Greek to ………. well anywhere in Europe.  From classical sonnets to traditional folk to the festive music of the gypsy’s, Continental Drift will entertain you in their individual way. Cheeky and naughty songs, tragic ballads, comical ditties and songs of nation hood all get interwoven by these troubadours. Be ready to be surprised and delighted as they shift countries and styles as they move from a winters tale to spring bolero.  With the huge Sunbury oval for children to run around on and with SFSC creating a menu & wines to fit,  where else would you want to spend this brilliant Spring afternoon

Saturday 10th of April and Continental Drift played at a beautiful wedding at Woodside, Gippsland. The groom was a kiwi so it was moving to play PokarekareAna and hear his friends and family sing along.The Bride and groom had rehearsed a lovely bridal dance much aplauded and the dance floor was soon packed. A beautiful night.
